A friend of mine is celebrating his golden jubilee as a Marist Brother. His name is Hilario Schwab, from Argentina. I have been lucky enough to share some time with him in Bangladesh. He has been a God’s gift to me. Intelligent, witty, sensitive, close, sensible, wise, with a bit of healthy irony. Great observer of the human nature. Friend of the youth, of God, and loving son of the Holy Virgin. And brave enough to start a new missionary adventure in Asia being more than 60 years old. Un amigo mío está celebrando 50 años desde que se consagró a Dios como Hermano Marista. Se llama Hilario Schwab, argentino. He tenido la suerte de estar a su lado en Bangladesh, y ha sido un regalo más de Dios para mí. Inteligente, agudo, penetrante, sensible, cercano, prudente, con un puntito de sana ironía haciendo honor a su nombre. Gran observador de la naturaleza humana. Amigo de los jóvenes, amante de Dios y de la Virgen María. Y valiente, puesto que a los más de 60 años de edad decidió emprender la aventura misionera en Asia.
